These moments urge me to tell you,
It breaks my heart to be away from you.
Then I remember who you are,
A charismatic man of power,
Who would let me wither like a flower.
You love the thrill, the chase,
You think it's a passing phase.
The truth will leave you surprised,
You have me deeply mesmerized!
I break, shiver and cry out loud,
Never see the silver lining in the dark cloud.
Oh yes! In my pain I scream,
Snapping out of this horrible dream!
I knew you could break my heart,
And yet I let you play your part.
Now I'm left collecting the pieces,
Yet again, my love for you never ceases!
